Camps

Summer in Taiwan is probably the hottest time of year and hottest place in the world it feels like, especially since there is no air conditioning in the schools and we can only turn our air conditioning on in our dorms for 4 hours a day!! It is pretty ridiculous! I also got my boss to agree with me when she came to visit, now I am the hero in the office because they will have air conditioning installed in the office for next year. However, I will not be here, but I am happy for them. So besides it being EXTREMELY HOT, I am teaching camps. I co-teach two lessons a day about the character qualities determination and confidence, unless it is an office day. I also help out cleaning the school since the students only come for a day. I also serve lunch to the kids, it is kinda weird doing the jobs my students do at my schools. Camps are pretty fun, but most of the time they are just hot. I only have 5 more days of classes before I head home which makes me anxious every time I think about it. I can't wait to see my family, my boyfriend and all my friends, plus my brother is getting married which is really exciting news!
On a more serious note please be praying for the people in Taiwan, so many of them are unsaved, but believed they are saved by a different god. It is terrible to think about and I think about it on a daily basis because there are temples EVERYWHERE! The people need the Lord! Please pray that we will be able to shine the glory of the Lord into their lives and that we will be able to stand strong as witnesses of the Lord. Isaiah 43:10 "“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me."
